Prerequisites
 
You must have basic AIX and LPAR system administration experience.

The AIX prerequisite may be met by attending:

  • AIX System Administration I: Implementation (AU140) or (UN314) or
  • AIX 5L Jumpstart for UNIX Professionals (AW180) or (UN845)

or have equivalent AIX skills.

The LPAR prerequisite may be met by attending:

  • System p LPAR and Virtualization I: Planning and Configuration (AU730) or (UN373)
  • or have equivalent Logical Partitioning (LPAR) skills.
