Part 1: During the first two days, learn how to perform common day-to-day tasks in Rational ClearCase and focuses on the concepts and skills you need to successfully manage source code change in your development environments.

Part 2: On the third day, get an introduction to the discipline of Software Configuration Management (SCM) and the attributes of effective SCM. Learn what information is critical to include in a configuration management plan. Practice creating and implementing a usage model based on a simulated software development project. The usage model includes details about organizing project artifacts, branching strategies, and project process and policies.

Part 3: In the last two days, build on the knowledge gained in the previous days and learn techniques to ease deployment and maintenance of a ClearCase implementation from initial project planning through configuration, installation, and ongoing administration.

Web Based Training (WBT): Access the entire catalog of WBT courses for a 30 day trial. Rational WBT courses provide a training advantage for you, helping you get up to speed on Rational tools and best practices.
